There are many types of water testing, from monitoring purification and filtration systems to identifying impurities and salinity. We can monitor filtration efficiency and troubleshoot purification systems using our laser extinction particle counter, identify errant particulates by scanning electron microscope and characterise water for total suspended and dissolved solids, silt density index and salinity.
The techniques we use are:
- Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
- Particle counting by light extinction (following NAS1368 or ISO4406)
- Silt Density Index (SDI)
- Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
- Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
- Ion selective electrodes (Cl¯, F¯ etc)
